You can also try connecting the receiver on some other USB port and then again press on their connect buttons. Now, again connect the receiver to another computer system, if you have one. Locked Laptop
If you are using a wired mouse, unplug it from USB port and if you are using a wireless mouse, unplug the receiver from the port.
